Off to make my dad's Father's Day card and a wedding card.

Have a great night and thanks for stopping by!

Embrace Happiness- Mo's Digital Challenge #32

You had to create a card that portrayed any type of love. I chose the image Buds.. This has to be one of the sweetest images I have ever seen! It reminds me so much of my sister's dog Buddy!

I used an older sketch by The Sweet Stop SSS53. Korin really has some outstanding sketches on her challenge blog!

I colored the image in with my Copics and then used my Prisma Pencils for the shadowing underneath the dog. Note to self... see what the color looks like BEFORE you add it directly to the image! I am really disappointed with how that looks and have tried really hard to correct it, to no avail :(

I hope that everyone has a wonderful Sunday! The weather is not great here, but that means more stamping time!

Thanks for taking the time to check out my blog!

Michelle

Stamps: Mo's Digital Pencil; Buds and Papertrey Ink; Mixed Messages

Paper: CTMH ; Key to My Heart (thanks E for reminding me that I have that!)

Way to Go Dana!!!!

Hello everyone!

I hope that you all had a good Monday!

I am back with a card.... go figure ;)

My niece Dana, who is 8, just made the traveling soccer team after a grueling week of try-outs! I am so proud of her and just had to make a card to send her! The teams colors are blue and yellow which is why I chose this color combo... Had to make her authentic, ya know?

I used the Sweet Sketch Wednesday #49. Another wonderful sketch by Arlana!

This image is by Mo Manning at Mo's Digital Pencil. She is Soccer Girl.

Thanks for taking the time to check out my blog and leave a comment, I really appreciate it!

Sweet Sketch #48 Happy Mother'sDay

Happy Friday everyone!

I can finally post this card as my Mom won't see it on my blog now. This is her Mother's Day card, again not very traditional, but I wanted the same type of image that I used on my sister's card.

This card was made using Sweet Sketch #48 over at Sweet Sketch Wednesday. This was a really cool sketch and I had a lot of fun with it! Thanks Ariana!

The image is by Mo Manning at Mo's Digital Pencil and is called I Love It. How cute is this little girl????

She was colored in with my ever trusty Copics and I inked all of the edges of the paper with ColorBox Chalk Ink in Chestnut Roan.

Thanks for stopping by and for leaving a comment, they make my day!

Thinking of You

I just wanted to post this quickly before I headed off to work this morning...

This is the card that I made for my Featured Stamper spot on Tuesday Morning Sketches which will be on Melissa's blog today along with the actual sketch for this card.

Thanks so much to Melissa and her DT for selecting my card, I am honored!!!

This is another digital image from Mo's Digital Pencil, it is called End of Summer.

I colored her with my copics and then shadowed the background with my Prisma pencils and OMS.

The button wrapping on the side was done after I watched a tutorial by Michele Boyer at Paper Cuts found here. I also distressed the edges of the dp to give it a "country" feel.

I hope that you all have a great day!

Thanks for taking a peek!

Mo's Challenge #28

It's been a few days since my last post. My hubby and I were in Cape May, NJ for the past three days. What a wonderful time!!! I took my first horse and carriage ride!! The driver, Lauren, was so informative about the history of the houses it was incredible!

So, we returned today and I was itching to color. I just had to do Mo's Challenge #28, the challenge was 1 ribbon, 2 brads or buttons and 3 designer papers. This is a card I made for my sister for Mother's Day, I know... not your tradition card. I was inspired by her daugher, my niece Gianna, who ADORES her baby dolls.

I used a sketch by Friday Sketchers #99. Oh and go figure, I colored this cutie with my Copics.

Stamps: Mo's Digital Pencil; Sophie and sentiment: PTI Women of Life

Paper: Kaiser Craft; Pennyroyale Collection, PTI; Dark Chocolate and Vintage Cream

Embellies: Kaiser Craft brads and SU! ribbon

Joy is....

Squeezing a kitty!

I created this card for the 27th Challenge at Mo's Digital Pencil. I can't get enough of these images! In fact, right after this post I am going to purchase another one for the card I am making for my niece Dana's First Holy Communion that is coming up.

The background paper is by Core'dinations (spelled it right this time!) the Chocolate Box pad . I ran it through my Big Shot with a Sizzix texture folder and then sanded away. I also distressed the edges of the pp and ran it thru my sewing machine.

Thanks for stopping by!

Michelle

Paper: Core'dinations, PTI Vintage Cream and Basic Grey's Nook & Pantry

Tuesday Morning Sketches Challenge #41

I made this card for the Tuesday Morning Sketches Challenge #41. I LOVE these challenges. I am getting a wee bit addicted to all of the blog challenges out there!

This challenge did not have a sketch, the challenge was to use Soft Hues, Flowers and Ribbon. I use flowers and ribbon a LOT however, soft hues is not my norm. This is what I came up with.

The stamp is from Mo's Digital Pencil, she is Baby Fairy Flora. Another beatiful image from Mo Manning.
This little cutie was colored in with my copics and I double layered her wings to give her a wee bit of dimension.

Thanks for taking the time to stop by!

Michelle

Stamp: Mo's Digital Pencil;Baby Fairy Flora

Paper: Basic Grey;Lily Kate and SU! cardstock

Embellies: Flower by Prima (of course!), ribbon from my stash and SU! Pretties Kit for stick pin
